Default winter project 944 turbo

ok................................

now that i'm finally installed in my new house and that my 951 as finally a home, I will be beginning my winter project, even with a new kid ( a boy !!!!!!!!! ) coming to life in feb. A winter project I will be working mostly during nights, late nights, while baby boy is sleeping....

my plans:

1. Bought an Stage 1 oil cooled turbo from John last September, John was cool enough to call me last month to ask me if the turbo was installed, if no, if did some modifications to the stage 1, return it, and he will do mods... no fees....
Thanks John.

2. Just to understand better, I've already have Vitesses Maf kit installed.

3. Returning John's turbo, I asked to convert it to a water cooled to save me expenses of buying a new water resoivoir and lines..... and he is doing, no questions asked.

4. I will be changing my K26/6 turbo myself, will need your (rennlist guys) help

5, Will also be changing the oil pan gasket gasket

6. Converting to 2.5 to 3'' down pipe

7. 2 piece cross over pipe

etc... and ect...

ecstatically

1. Shoothing all inside vynil with SEM
2. Putting in new front seats (maxspeed's gt3 copys)
3. purshased some 951 fuchs wheels last summer from a rennslister, in really bad shape (curb rash....... you should of told me you ****) will have them refinish by a professinal, damage to strong.
4. Put in a classic 9 cover on my dash

here are some picts at the beginning of project, will keep you posted.

What part is it? Just curious I have never had any problems getting parts from them.

Sounds like you have got your work cut out. Congradulations on the soon to be born boy (little hands may come in handy )

I have been poking away at my car over the winter while the wheels are out getting refinished. Got most of my projects done before our recent deep freeze, then found my battery box has one small pin hole so that is my next project (and installing a battery cover)

Its nice doing work when there is no pressure as the car is stored
