Default Finally done (almost)

Finally finished the Front End repairs: all front seals, water pump, belts, rollers, front main seal, oil pump gasket, fuel injectors, all vacuum fittings, throttle body spring and seals, suspension rubber boots, camshaft seals and paint, intake seals and paint, aos seals and reglassed and rubberized the battery compartment. Started engine up and it idled like crap...after a few minutes checked the exhaust manifold for heat. Number one was cold and I remembered the injector electrical connector was cracked. Put a NOID on it and it was working. Tightned the connector and after reinstalling it....Runs like a champ, oil and coolant stabilized and no leaks. Yipppeeee! Still hesitates a little under load and I'm wondering what I've missed. I've rebuilt the AFM, fixed the vacuum issues and now wondering if the FPR or FPD might be a consideration. I'll have to check further. Since the RMS is leaking badly, I'll replace the old fuel line by the New fuel filter when I pull the transaxel.

Looks like mine, only my intake is polished. Pictures when I get mine back from body shop. I love the red cam tower.

I use Soapy water, Dry, then the one grand vinyl and rubber dressing. It's a professional product. It won't attract dust and dirt like an armorall type product.

Even the factory doesn't put out engines as clean as Ernie's. I thought my engine was pretty good until I saw his. Anyhow, It's better than when I started:

our motors are almost twinsies.

daily driven for 5 years. the key to cleanliness is working on it so much that you wipe it down every time

...now that i look at it i need to replace that evap tank hose...
