Early 2.0L
I have always had a soft spot for the 924 as it was my first Porsche.
There are a couple of things that I really miss about the car.
1- I love white ones and really miss the 924 turbo's look. It was a very good looking car IMO.
2- I loved how the center console had the three top guages. It was just so cool old school.
3- I had my block decked to raise the compression up and had to run 91+ oct. I also had the cat by pass, and changed the throtle body. These mods made it so that It would beat the 944 NA fairly easily on the track and in the Auto-X even with smaller tires. I added the 924 Turbo fin and rear body flaps. What a good looking and Fun fun car. This was how porsche should have made the car to begin with.

I have a 924 (dads) sitting in my back yard that soon it'll get a respray.
There's an after market EMS laying around, a supercharger or might by another turbo. and a few other goodies hanging about...
And a spare long block...
Just sayin'

It's good that you don't have to mod a signle thing inside the 924 2.0 engine to boost it with turbo or supercharger if it is in good health. One needs it to convert it to EFI, have standalone engine management, skills for fabricationg basic pipe-work (stock exhaust manifold is OK) and install turbo/supercharger and intercooler.
My turbocharged euro 924 has ~250hp/320NM at 1 bar, weighs around 1200 kg's and blows the doors off on any stock 944/968 sans 968 turbo and is slightly faster than 951 S.

Thanks for the sweet pics and links! It's good to see the 924 getting some love. ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I love the red one on the grass. I also really like the rally car #214 and the first one, two tone white and red. Nice!

Love the pics guys! The first linked one (white one) looks awsome too. I think it is the side marker delete that cleans the car up the most. I never liked the round side lights.. Reminds me too much of farm tractor lights (sorry 924 guys but that's what they look like to me)
I love retro cars. Must be from me growing up and dreaming of them when they were new!

I agree, the round reflectors look too much like what they were- an add on ![Frown](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
i'll see what other 924 stuff I can dig up. I'm sure guys like Ideola and Ernie and contribute too.
