What the heck are these?!?!? And... is this the right O2?

Do you have an aftermarket air filter? Those screws look exactly like the ones holding the adapter plate on mine.

TPS bolts maybe? they're really little allen bolts about that size.

the two allen bolts are for the rear support of the intake manifold....only on the 944 turbo.....back near the oil fill cap.....that is the wrong o2 sensor....vinnie

Those bolts are clearly optional parts... there are all kinds of little bolts and screws I've found that may at one time have been in one of my cars...

I would agree, if they were 2 - 3 times the size pictured... the allens at the intake support are M6 heads... these look to be M2 or M3... similar to the 2 that secure the CV to the bracket under the intake....

Thought about that, but no... those are still where they're supposed to be..

They do kind of look like those, but my CV and bracket are long gone...

I don't know where they could have come from, I suppose I'll just keep going, and if my ailerons fall off, I'll know where they came from

When you pulled the CV years ago, knowing they were not going to be used again, they fell down into the space above the balance shaft or the AOS, and finally rattled out !

My first thought too.

This would be an easy part to loose, forget to replace. Pop the distributor cap and take a peek for piece of minds sake.
