Get the POS off jack stands and on the track. It has been over 6 months since I've had a track day.
Finish the:
roll cage, suspension, seal sunroof, delete headlights, complete haltech install, convert to 5.5" clutch, purchase trailer and something to pull it.........oh yeah get a job unless someone has a spare sugar mamma......LMAO......

Selling the 951 in the spring after fixing sunroof gear

This is not really a FS ad yet but I know I have to thin the fleet for various reasons...so if any Forum member is interested early on, PM/Email me (or both since sometimes they don't work)

Pulling the motor for a complete rebuild, larger turbo (probably gonna go with the LR Super 48), re-spray entire car (possible color change) and re-do interior. I will be starting a new thread to show progress.

I just got my 951 last week. It is going to be a daily driver for my step son. Here is the plan:
1.Top end refresh. All top end hoses and vacuum lines to be replaced to include cam tower gasket. Reduce power (He is a teenage boy, it has too much power for that inexperience, I will return it to the prior power level if he demonstrates he can safely drive the car over an extended time).
2.Recharge AC,
3. Replace rear shocks
4. Adjust front wheel bearing on drivers side
5. Diagnose/fix power steering leak
6. Replace oil pump lines, and possibly oil pan gasket
7 . Fix rear hatch release
8. Repair dash by Fibrenew, Replace shifter boot.
9. Remove/Replace Stone guards
10. Clay Bar/ Polish/ Wax to evaluate paint
11. Install sub-woofer (Step-son's wish)
12. Body work subject to Step son's commitment. If he puts in the work, I will commit to some ding removal and some select paint work.
13. Fix any issues that need to be addressed as they appear, fingers crossed, hope they are minor.

Any comments and or recommendations on the above plan are certainly welcome.

Dammit, I wish I could've started with a 951!!!

I gotta wait til I'm out of college and get a real job to get one. Your step son will have a blast in it!

i wanted a place to be able to post anything that fell short of justifying it's own complete dedicated thread.

such as the video clips below which capture the 924 in Grand Prix competition.

i'm hoping to finish (including paint to match) on my new front bumper project. i'll return full-time to finishing it in about 2 weeks..... i want to complete chevy swap late summer/early fall..... i want to install 993 hid headlamps (the hid lamp structure is fairly large, making this not an easy 'one' for someone with almost no autobody experience).... i'd like to paint the car with a new color. colors i like; Chevrolet; Jetstream Blue, Lamborghini/Chevrolet; Monterrey Blue, BMW; Boston Green, Porsche; Aventurine Green, Amazon Green, Cobalt Blue..... next year, maybe return to the interior with some leather work.

anyway, i wanna hear your stories, anything that you feel like talking about,
any unusual cars/wrecks on craigslist, ebay, etc.... post 'em.

if you care to contribute, please keep it friendly or kindly stay out.
