Default Stupid bolt keeps kickin' my A** (951)

So, in the last few weeks, I've made r&r of the intake manifold on my 951 a fairly common occurrence. Not that I think it's fun or anything, but it's just been required for the work I've been doing to it recently. Now, hopefully, I won't be taking it off again anytime soon, but I know it will eventually happen again.

So here's my question: How do you guys tackle the bolt that holds the oil dipstick to the underside of the intake manifold? There's got to be a better way than how I've been doing it. Is there a magical tool that makes this easy? Or, am I doomed to spending hours turning that bolt 1/8 turn at a time with 3 different wrenches and periodically fishing them out of the car?

I always loosened it with a 1/4" drive ratchet, extension, and universal joint combo and pulled the dipstick with the intake.

Yeah, I never seem to have a problem loosening it... it's always tightening it the last little bit once it's all back together that's the problem... for some reason the 1/4" universal joint that I have seems to know that I'm putting everything back together and catapult off of my extension as soon as I stick it in there... maybe I need a better wobbly

I have a love/hate relationship with these but they make that bolt pretty easy. One hand to hold the stupid thing on the bolt and the other to turn the wrench

I use an extension with a 10mm socket with built in flex joint. In my years of wrenching i find the sockets with built in joints are less likely to bind when working at an extreme angle. My usual issue with that bolt is getting it started. Always requires removal of the throttle cable bracket and flexing my fingers at an awkward angle! I have been meaning to 'slot' the tab that is on the dip stick tube so it just slides in place, but i always forget...maybe next time i pull the intake .

ditto 67king......using a dremel tool, I cut a small piece of the bracket off so it slides into place then added a washer to the bolt. The bolt doesn't need to be overtightened in place just tight enough so it doesn't slide off.

Already done. It's just that last half-turn once its all together that sucks... I think I just need to bite the bullet and invest in some good wobble sockets...
