^ What's with the tape on the Z car?
Here's a shot of the 944 in front of my Monte Carlo...
Daily driver - 2006 Monte Carlo, has just under 95k miles.
Toy that I sold to my mom - Street legal 2003 Honda 400ex
Toy that I bought with the money from the Honda - 1990 F150 XLT Lariat currently sitting with a shot transfer case.
I want to sell this and get a 73-87 GM or Jeep J-Series to romp around in.

I originally bought my 944 to keep miles off my Jeep, and to get better gas mileage for daily driving. I promptly fell in love with the 944. The Jeep is a 1 owner 1997 that I have been tinkering on for a long time.

just had the car twin turbo'ed and painted in san diego and drove it back to DC. that was one helluva ride! did it in record time and still ate the big steak at the Big Texan, saw "car-henge" and the worlds largest ball of yarn among other little sideshows of americana.
the tape was to protect the whole front end for the trip. the snowy parking lot was I40 in Arkansas after a snowstorm. got into a snowball fight with every trucker for half a mile, it was the best time ive ever had stuck in traffic!

Don't tell my wife but i actually like driving her car as much as the boxster. It many ways it better made...
As for the garage queen here is my project for the past year. Don't worry about posting lucas jokes. It's all been removed and 100% new wiring. GM alternator etc....
well here is a lucas joke: Did you know that lucas made vacuum cleaners?
They didn't suck.

ZR8ED, I've always had a super soft spot for the 'ol Z-cars, and your black z has caused me to drool all over my keyboard, desk, floor, self... I wonder what my girlfriend thinks I'm looking at... she's giving me an odd look...
Anyway, I'll throw out what (bad) pics I have of my other wallet-eaters:
2000 M5:
1985 Celica Supra (For Sale):
And my other obsession (aside from the 951). 1985 Alfa Romeo GTV6. With LOTS of mods:
And one of them all together (before the 951):

OMG that 280z is a thing of beauty! Forget the cab, bring the z to the next meet.

Its a crappy rainy weekend, and I've been working in the garage on one of my other project cars fixing it up so I can sell it. I may be a bit new to Porsches, but not cars/racing. I started with mustangs, and went on to early Datsun Z cars, where I've been building, tracking, and drag racing for over 20 years. From some of the Porsche meets I've been to, talk always turns to "what else do you play with" So to those who have asked, here are some of my other toys/projects that I have built and wrench on. What other toys do you guys drive/wrench/race with?
This is my pride and joy. I've been building/racing it for over 20 years. Just about everything on is performance or hand made. Its a 1978 280Z with a very modded driveline from a late 80's 300zx turbo. Built to be a Viper killer, and it is!
The next is project "flip it" I picked it up at the end of the season last year, and I've been working on it eversince so I can clean it up and sell it. It too is a 1978 280, but much much tamer.
