My Weekend in Photos
It All began with a box:
Which contained Gaz Gold Coilovers:
Rear Coilover Close-ups:
Front Close-ups:
Oh And Shock Dynos:
Then some wrenching with my pops,
His 951,
Finished Product:
If that wasn't enough I installed Prosport Gauges (missing the H20 Temp due to back order). I also changed the aluminum bezel to better match the black interior with some Duplicolor Metalcast Smoke Spray paint. Sorry I missing a good before photo..

They're both from the UK, but these are made by a small shock company owned by the Gazzard Family. I heard rumors some of the Leda people are employed there now, but thats all hear-say. These are the specs:
1. FRONT AND REAR UNITS ADJUST BUMP AND REBOUND FROM A SINGLE CONTROL **** ON THE SIDE OF THE UNIT.
2. STRUTS AND SEMI STRUTS HAVE 62MM BODIES FOR INCREASED OIL CAPACITY. THESE UNITS ARE FITTED WITH 22MM DIAMETER INDUCTION HARDENED PISTON RODS THAT ARE HARD CHROME PLATED FOR STRENGTH AND DURABILITY.
3. ALL UNITS HAVE MULTI LIP SEALING. THE OUTER SEAL IS A METAL ENCASED WIPER TO CLEAN THE PISTON ROD. THIS IN TURN EXTENDS MAIN SEAL PERFORMANCE AND OIL RETENTION UNDER EXTREME CONDITIONS.
4. ALL THE GOLD RANGE ARE FITTED WITH A GAS CELL IN THE OUTER RESERVOIR AND FILLED WITH A HIGH VISCOSITY INDEX MULTI GRADE OIL TO PREVENT CAVITATION AND REDUCE FADE IN MOTOR RACING CONDITIONS.
5. THE COILOVERS AND TELESCOPIC UNITS IN THIS RANGE UTILISE LIGHTWEIGHT BILLET ALLOY COMPONENTS WHERE POSSIBLE, I.E. BASES, END FITTINGS, SEATS, LOCKRINGS, ROD GUIDES AND GLAND NUTS. THE OUTER TUBE IS STEEL WITH A NICKEL COATING TO PROVIDE THE BEST ANTI CORROSIVE FINISH POSSIBLE. ALL OUTER ALLOY COMPONENTS ARE ANODISED.
6. A FULL RANGE OF SPRINGS ARE STOCKED AT THE FACTORY FOR ROAD AND MOTORSPORT USE.
So far so good. These are a test set that I got before we start distributing for the company. I had Koni Single adjustable coilovers on the front (for sale btw), and the QA-1 coil-overs on the rear. These are Much more compliant on the road. The Konis seem to be either bone jarring or too soft, and the QA-1's were just too soft (Blown). I've got 500 miles on the shocks now and loving them. They have a ton of adjustment possibilities, 23 steps of adj in the front 43 in the rear.
The gauges have 5 wires on the back,
Black= Ground, I used the ground wire from the old factory radio plug (spade connector, no cutting)
Red= 12v acc power (stole from the radio)
White = 12 acc power (also from the radio)
Orange= Goes to a headlight swicthed source (I used the wire for the ashtray light)
Green= these go to the sensors in the motor. I got trailor wire with all the wires in a loom already and ran them into the engine like that. The wire I used is a little overkill cause it's insulated, but it was attempt to keep the engine bay organized.
I'm experiencing some issues with the gauge switching to amber with the headlights. If I don't turn the headlight dial fast the gauges flip to amber then back to white. I'm not sure if this is a wiring issue or something with the gauges because I checked and they still get 12v from the wire. That will require further research.

^^ I think I figured out my problem with the prosports. The LED's in them require exactly 12v (or More) to switch on. My car has a questionable battery, so just after startup I'm only getting 11-11.5 volts. My solution for now is to give it a few seconds before I turn my headlights on. Otherwise I have to turn the car off and start over. I'd check to see if your getting the 12v from that wire location (not sure if dimmer changes the voltage). Chris White suggested I switch to the lighted plug on the radio harness (IIRC it's #3, red with black stripe), except mine doesn't have any voltage with the lights on..
