N-Tune

I would like to know this as well. I have an '89 DME I am trying to sell and have had people ask if it will work for their late 2.5l engines and I have not been able to give them a confident answer.

Anything 85.5 and up for the 944NA (not the 16-valve stuff) will work. The 88 and up should be 28pin, IIRC. But really, anything from 85.5 can be made to work.

I know Rogue-Ant has been driving around town in his NA with the SD tune in place..so there is progress.
I *think* he is also looking for someone at sea-level to help test areas of the maps he cannot get to in Denver.

In South East FL, Palm Beach on the coast. If he wants testing on a stock, daily driven 86na I can help. Plus high-temp testing here might help find possible issues.

Yep, I've been driving my NA on the new SD-Tune setup for a little while now - it drives awesome! The low-end power/torque is a significant change.
Lately, I've been working on a completely new idle-code for the 944Turbo MAF setup, which has taken most of my time, but I am nearly done with it, and will be getting back to finishing up the SD-Tune...
The system will automatically compensate for altitude changes! Because we are measuring pressure, the SD-Tune understands if you are at sea-level or on top of Pikes-Peak, no problem.
That said, I do need a sea-level tester. Minimum requirements I need in a tester:
944NA or 924S w/ stock engine including stock 8-valve head. (stock rebuilds are ok)
85.5+ DME
WBO2 (preferably with logging capability, so I can review the log).
Live at, or very near sea-level.
Some tuning knowledge would be appreciated.
Patience.
Please contact me if this interest you.

I have an 84 944 with an 86 motor and 86 chipped DME in Canada, meaning I put my car away yesterday because snow is coming soon.
Great to hear there is progress, I can't wait till it's done.
