It looks they were made in 2003.

Fill them in with some window weld and you have a pretty stout mount that won't allow the trans to sway at all and will keep those CV's from breaking.

These are entirely different from the late mount you have; these are much, much more solid and do not let the trans sway much if at all. The late mount is a POS compared to these.

I have to agree. The double TA mounts were so much more solid on my 83 and prevented the rotation under torque that kills CV's on a 951 or later single mount style. I never could figure out why they changed them?

Is there a good way to secure a turbo transmission in an '86 NA??
I'm going to have over 300ft-lbs and i'm a bit worried about the CV's

Solid tranny mount or reinforced OEM mount. Also, you can add an additional brace between the tranny and the chassis.

I think it was xsboost who was experimenting with a brace using heim joints to connect the bottom of the transmission to one side of the transaxle cross member (for late 944s). I was under a friend's boxster and I noticed it came with a nice transaxle brace already.

A solid/solidified stock mount is a good start but nothing beats a triangle.

My old 924S had these style mounts. I filled them in with window weld and they were nice and solid with 0 noise. I wish the turbo trans would have had these.
