I have been trying to rip the trans apart but it has lasted more than 10 minutes. I have a couple of turbo trans's laying around to throw in. I do sell lots of parts and flip vehicles when I get the chance, this is one of those chances, so we will see. It is super ugly but if you drop the engine with spacers and can swap intakes it would be hidden. Even uglier is the extra fan that is cut into the front lower bumper cover. The body (other than the engine sticking out and the fans) is in very nice shape and was pleasantly surprised when I picked up the car. The PO did a lot of work to it. It even comes with HP tuner software that is pretty cool to mess with. Best part was the umbrella that came with the car. It has two handles that split apart and turn into a stand. I will say this to performance (not taking ugliness into concideration) After you can get it to grip, it is very very quick with a load of torque. Thanks for all the responses.

There is a hybrider with a V8 installed in an auto 944 and he said he has tried to kill the trans to no avail and he had his built-up. It's probably a good thing you have skinny rear tires, because if it hooked instantaneous you would probably throw the R&P thru the gas tank with the Truck intake as it produces so much torque down low. I put on the LS1 intake and was able to keep the 5.3 injectors and PCM to run it at a fraction what the LS1 swap would have been. Whick "KIT" did you use if any and is your pilot bearing still in one piece?
