Your best bet is to "De-Chrome" your wheels... No One Likes Chrome!!!

p.s. Most powder coating shops should be able to do it for you.

chrome is bad. The lugs will become one with the wheels eventually, and they look like crap.
+1000 Ernie ... superb looking wheels.

Is that gunmetal on the cup? That is what I was thinking of doing, but leaving the lip chrome because that is good on all 4 wheels. I have a glass bead cabinet plus a portable blaster for doing parts of cars. I used the portable one to blast the swimming pool one year to paint it with epoxy paint, now that bit the big one. The wife is still bitching about that.

If it's not gunmetal it's darn close ,of course a solide painted wheels will look a little different then a polish lip one,it's up to one taste to decide which one look better.

Yes my son has the polished lip with bronze center on his D90's. I think I'll start on them tonight.
