Default SOLD:Any interest in a 1983 944 $1700?

Car has been SOLD!!!

I have my 1983 944 that I'm thinking about selling. I bought it as a project. I did a lot of work to it getting it back into shape. It runs and drives good. I transplanted a lot of parts from a late model 944.

Parts transplanted from a 1986 944:
Powered front seats and rear seats
ebrake handle
front bumper
rear bumper
driver and passenger front fenders
hood with heated nozzles
steering wheel
black carpets including rear hatch (interior used to be all tan)
driver and passenger side doors with script handles
rear hatch with working 3rd brake light
later style smaller starter
sun visors
rear black panels
reconditioned rear hatch latches
late style ebrake handle
All locks switched over from the 86 944 (rear hatch, script door handles, gas cap, ignition)
changed the radiator fans from the 3 blade to the 6 blade style.
interior rear view mirror was switched over with no stain marks
Later style (from 1986) DME and AFM also installed with no problems.

I also updated the interior lights with leds from superbrightleds. You can see in the pics the dash at night with super white leds installed. I also installed new ground cables and grinded down all the ground locations. All new fuses, spark plugs ans spark plug wires. Newer ignition coil and disassembled and cleaned the headlight motor and front wiper motor so they all work perfect. All electronics work (switches, lights, signals, powered mirrors, windows, fogs, a/c, heat controls etc). Has ARE 3 piece bbs style wheels in good shape with very good tires.

the bad:
-Speedo and tach don't work. Not sure why. Odo stopped at 98k miles.
-body is alright. The rear has a few dings on the side and could use a repaint.
-don't know when the timing belt was changed however i took the timing belt cover off and the belt has absolutely no cracks or wear. Car starts up and drives around fine.
-clutch slave or master could use a replacement (although it shifts fine and clutch lets in and out fine)

Only reason Im selling is because im expecting to pick up a 951 in a week. So this has to go or my wife is going to kill me. In Long Island NY. PM for any questions. Clean NY title.
