Really nice to meet you all and see your great cars.

Drive home was great fantastic cab weather. I took the 1000 island parkway to brockville added more sunshine crusin to the afternoon.

Pontifix thanks for the great Picts.

A good turnout. 9 cars showed up. (we counted the 928 twice as it has two 944 motors under the hood.) It is by far the largest 44 turnout I have ever seen. Not bad for a first attempt at a meet!

The weather was awsome. The drive there and back was smooth and I had the top down all the way back home.

It was great to meet everyone, and to be able to put some names and faces to the avatar/rennlist name as well! It was interesting to hear everyone's stories of their cars, and how we all ended up with our porsches.

As promised, here is a pic of all the cars together with no people in the way. I left the restaurant before everyone, and got a couple of shots.

Hi StyleLab.
I really liked the look of of the black side sill trim pieces. Are they OEM or aftermarket ?
I think they would match up well with my black splitter on a white car.

I had the exact same thought. My car is a bona fide POS compared to these rides. I better get working on mine for the next meet, otherwise it'll just depress me.

Nice cars guys and great meet, hopefully I won't have to work for the next one...

Joe,
Clean or dirty, your 44 would have been more than welcomed.

Hey Steve, there are 4 black pieces that fit under the rocker panels. They came stock on all turbo and S2 models so all you need to do is find a set and your car already has provisions to mount them. Actually I think they can also be mounted on the n/a as well.

You can find them here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...Q5fAccessories

Charlie,

I photoshopped my favorite photo of yours to use as my desktop wallpaper. I am no pro so I didn't do a perfect job but I think its better this way the pole was bugging me. Thanks again this one is a keeper.

Good choice. Maybe if we do an evening meet some time, I can bring along some lights and we can do some proper car photography!

MHR. I like the photoshop version too! It is on my wallpaper now. I'll cycle through a few of these. I still need to get the pics from my friends camera. He took more pics than I did. I was having too much fun talking to remember to take lots of pictures! hehe

In one our group talks someone mentioned the British car show and shine here in Kingston but didn`t know what the date was. It is the annual Boots and Bonnet event.A friend is involved with it. The date is the Aug 21 weekend.Lots of nice British cars and every so often you may see something late model like a Aston Martin.
