I could go for some retro-psychedelicness.

ordered some parts here recently-

www.rennbay.com is getting me all the engine rebuild parts as well as some 30mm torsion bars and front wheel bearings

www.lindseyracing.com - just ordered some Hawk blue 9012 f/r pads

www.paragon-products.com - ordered some brake lines, 350lb coil springs and a two zone fire suppression system

-also ordered some shaved RA1 tires from tiresdirect

and for my most exciting purchase i ordered a full rollcage w/ nascar style drivers bar from www.hanksvillehotrods.com - pretty cool cage w/ CAD designed, mandrel bent bars and a knee bar that goes forward to the firewall for more room below the dash.

the turbo should be totally apart and the tub in storage at my mom's house by this weekend and i can start on pulling the new car apart in a couple weeks after the Chumpcar race w/ the Dragon at Road America.

Dan - sorry I missed this for a bit - looks great!

Look on 944spec.org for info about tires. There are some in transit from port to several tire shops, but the we may have some issues long term - the RA-1's are made in Sendai, Japan, and that factory is shut down. Get them while you can!

Sam picks his car up tomorrow - I'll post some pictures .

can i get the deal on RA1's that he got?

still waiting on racing tire direct to send me my $760 back for the tires they cancelled so i can order them elsewhere. I have time though, car wont be done for awhile. I have a feeling that stripping that goo on the floor may take awhile. Then im swapping motors, maybe transmissions for an LSD unit i have lined up, paint etc...normal stuff- but with work and a baby it takes alittle longer lately.

Since you've got the white, you could go for urban camo

The proud new owner:

Dan -

The only tires I have right now are the '03 date code that came off the orange car. I'll make you a good deal on those! .

Phil's Tire shold have a bunch of RA-1's coming, but they will go fast, and once they are gone, the future looks pretty bad. We may well be on 2 tires before the years out, as a class.

Dan, might I suggest a less traditional paint scheme, but not one you aren't unfamiliar with?

The Dragon riding in Spec?

i thought about a nicer version of the dragon theme, but i think i've found my paint scheme- its top secret though until its done.

i did get my brake lines and front springs today- let the fun start rolling in!! Oh and ive been making something out of fiberglass for my car....can ya guess?
