When I was looking for a header for my S2, I did a lot of looking and asking. I did not find anything else and was told that Stahl is the best out there for the S2.

The stock S2 tubular header outflows even the 968 cylinder head which is good for over 25hp more than the S2 head so wouldnt this be just a fun way to blow $1,000 for a new shiny part? I would put my money is in the heads valves, port work and camshafts? This is where the power is made, then maybe a computer chip & free flowing muffler would be taken advantage of!

Two things make me dissatisfied with the Stahl header. One is the price. $900 for an item that time and material dictate should be more like $400. Second is the material is light and doesn't hold up well. I have repaired several cracks in this header. MSDS header is better built, unfortunately it doesn't fit without major modification to the bell housing. The Speed Force header looks like the ultimate in material and craftsmanship. Unfortunately it is made of unobtainium and costs $1900. Stupid money for a header.
