Sure, why not. I've see tons of pretty crap 944 examples for 5-6k. Hard to give a real serious opinion on so few pictures and little information though.

are you buying ? i'm not sentimental about low performance Porsches.

i'm confused. is this a straigt up 924 or was it converted with 944 pieces from 924 skin ?

Looks like a nice, well maintained 87 S that you could put on track duty if you wanted to....so I think the price is fair.

I want those seats. They are best looking race seats that I have seen. Probably not real light though.

there's a guards red (laquer check/extremely faded) 944 with a 924 carrera hood putting around the lawn here at 24 hours of Daytona. is it a 924 Carrera ? it has the same exact shape as like an 83 944, but no badges, no protruding body panels. just clean 944 lines. can't figure out if it's a 924 or 944. i would stop and ask them what it is but i'm never near the infield drive when they come buy.

If the miles aren't crazy high and the maintenance history is as decent as the aesthetics, then I'd go $6K for that.

One thing that scares me... pretty valve cover and blue? plug wires but what appear to be original fuel lines. Somebody is more concerned about aesthetics than burning their car down.

I think its fair... the wheels, suspension and other parts will probably net that in a part out... looks like the nose needs a bit of paint, other than that, looks nice.

"People who pronounce it ‘porsh' start buying them, Steve McQueen weeps in his 911S."

Truth...

I think the hood stripes and 51 are ugly, but otherwise its pretty decent... On second thought that muffler is pretty silly

True....an hour for me.
My thought was if that's been neglected then possibly what else...
Granted it's beautiful less a couple silly bits, potentially a steal if the mechanicals are all solid with no hidden issues.
