Who made this strut brace?
Does anybody know the manufacturer of this strut brace and which models it may fit? I took it off a '87 Turbo.
Thanks! John
Thanks! John

Havent seen those in a long time. Cant recall the brand for certain.
I did find this, which is the same bar and similar mounts with a couple additional tie-rod connections. Which may be "Camber Truss", which I thought was Stable Energies?

Three Wheelin'
close but not quite. The one pictured above has two bolt holes on each strut mount, making it a much better design than the one 944online has listed. The reason being that one bolt on each side effectively creates a movable parallelogram out of the front suspension, frame, strut towers and the strut brace. All this will do is keep your strut towers from moving in and out (which is a problem), but it will not help keep the strut towers even vertically. Hockeydude's strut brace has 2 bolts connecting the bar to the mounts on either side, which is actually much more rigid, like wedging a screwdriver between two bolts to hold a rotating object still. D9's strut brace is the closest i've seen to the one you have, theirs is a bit more complicated, but the design is the closest i've seen.

Lots of track cars around here with those. I always thought it was an earlier version from Weltmeister, but never could confirm it. They are nice beefy strut bars. I don't know if you will get a response, but John Clark might know as a few of the cars he built has/had them on: clarkcollision at sbcglobal.net
