reading the posts makes me want to bring the N/A again just to line it up in the show beside all the 951s... AGAIN...

strek that, if the 951 is ready it is coming! maybe I'll just bite the bullet and bring BOTH!

Its because not many lined up for the show, and SOME people cant see what isn't sitting in a line in front of them..

Yes I know there were at least 5 N/As there last year alone.. but not too many lined up for the show (see other pictures posted)...

There were also a few there that were strictly a part of the PCA event...

... and others associated with the Fest that I did not get pictures of. Plus there were probably some S2s that looked like turbos, but were not...

For those of you that are new to the FEST here is the official site from last year. Check it out and put it on your calendar. http://www.944fest.com/

For what it's worth, Doc Goodwench and I plan to bring two cars this year. Not since we were at Mid-Ohio, have we been able to do this.

Plans are a little different though. Herbie got shortened significantly last May. Have not had time to swap things to the other shell. It has now moved to #3 on the Porsche fix-it list.

#1 goes to the "new" S2 that I picked up in November. In case you haven't been following along.... it's over here.... https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...eferrerid=4985

I hope to have the engine back together in a few weeks and start driving it in a couple of months.

#2 on the list is the Doc's 85.5. We have still not diagnosed the rough running problem. Last night we were talking about trailering it to the Fest and turn the wrenches loose on it. She said she would even allow it to get painted (like the give-away car from last year). She even went so far as to say she wouldn't mind if penises were painted all over it, as long as it got fixed.

Now is that a keeper, or what?

Geez, those N/A owners are pretty defensive! don't get all 928-emo on me! haha (just kidding)

Hell, out of all the times that Hockeyduuuuuude's been to 944fest i've only brought a forced-induction vehicle once! haha

Anyway, i still have no idea where i will be living (still job-less), so count me in.

The dragon rules!

Team Harco... Are you thinking the Ledges will let us race in their grass field, or do you have another venue in mind? Either way, count me in. Maybe in the dragon, maybe in a different beast.

As long as its sanctioned, planned and organized. Scott? get a proposal together and I will talk with the powers that be. Last year it was left at, "get it sanctioned and you can do as many donuts as you like."

Doug, Scott, Dan, Hockydude, etc.. I will be sending some emails out next week once I get some things sorted out. I have some great ideas for this year but Im going to need some help to pull it off, if you guys are up for it.

I also have to get the old site down and start putting it together with new info for this year... Probably this weekend.

What ever happened to the giveaway car from last year? Maybe it should come back to the fest and we can give it away again.. Like a yearly trophy or something.
