Question Question re: posting an avatar

I finally was able to take some really nice photos of the 951 today and I've downloaded them into jpg format but don't know how to post it as an avatar. Can anyone inform me on this procedure?

Thanks,
Arne

make sure the photo has been shrunk to a proper size.. (photoshop does fine) and upload the photo. select that file (url) as your avatar in the user control panel..
there IS a file size limit (not sure what it is)

Cant wait to see it Arne!!!

I updated the text and tried to upload an avatar. This is a test to see if it worked. Thank you Chris_924s.

Ok, that didn't work. Let's try this. Fingers are crossed! It states that the HTML is not enabled and the UBB Code is enabled. Is that right?

Chris - look in my profile. I somehow have gotten my picture there but still don't know how to "enable HTML" or whatever I need to put this picture as an avatar. Thanks.

Does anyone know how to make this bigger? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
Will try to make it smaller tomorrow. It IS a nice picture. My wife and I had a nice cruise today.

This HUGE avatar shows up on my previous posts also. Hopefully when I downsize it tomorrow, it will go back and fix the others. I really am glad I was able to get a picture in here at all. Maybe everyone else should raise their standards and supersize their avatars to match mine. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Arne.
