Question Anybody use Zymol Natural Cleaner Wax

Does anybody have experience of Zymol's Natural Cleaner Wax? Car is Satin Black and I am looking for something that can deal with small scratches and swirl marks.

Thanks in advance.

Zymoil is simply the best cleaner wax I have ever used bar none. I am always looking for a better one but this is the best I have tried. It goes on fast, wipes off clean with little dust and buffs to a awesome shine.

Down side is it does not seem to last very long. A good plain carnuba is hard to beat for durable shine.

zymol works great! its also not that expensive if you buy it at costco. A 2 pack of that stuff costs around $15, not too bad. Also, the wax has a GREAT smell to it, kinda coconut/hotel shampoo smell. Its also got a cool greenish color. But back to the results, i personally think it works better than turtle wax, but definitely does not last as long. It will get rid of minor scratches and bring out a healthy shine, but for how long, depends on your weather.

Ditto above,

make sure you follow instructions completely.
trry there website

also dont use any other cleaner/products

get a new buckets and cloths preferably zymol range stuff.

Also when cleaning or polishing, use "STRAIGHT" movements dont use circular ones this is what causes the scratshes

Do you reckon I'm better spending more and going for the HD Cleanse & Carbon Wax combo?

All through high school and college I used to make money by waxing cars and i tried almost everyting on the market and ended up with the Zymol products, they work great and I was really happy with them.

Then I went to work in a body shop as a detailer, and they used 3M products and they are even better than Zymol, a bit harder to find and not quite as easy to use, but the results are bit better, it all depends on how much of perfectionist you are.

Also PS21 makes some good wax, we all know them for their wheel cleaner (it is the best) and I would put their waxes on par w/ zymol and even easier to use.

Non of these waxes last more than 8 weeks and really they normally need to be reapplied more often that that.

Keep our cars looking beautiful.

I have read a lot of good things about the 3M line, but am having trouble finding retaillers in the UK. The Swirl Remover doesn't seem to be listed on the 3M UK website either.

If you go with the HD cleanse & the Carbon, you are getting into the really good Zymol stuff. The HD cleanse works quite well. Used it on a faded Saab and made the paint look like new. I also used Zymol Saab (similar to Carbon but formulated for Saab) for wax. I notice people stating the liquid Zymol not lasting long...and I agree. Use the Carbon (or another flavor) and you won't be saying that...but it is not as easy to apply. You have to use a super-small amount, and it will take a little getting used to. But the results are amazing.

Personally I've never used Zymol, I've always been put off by the price. Two products I can recommend however are:-

One Grand Blitz Wax, available from Frost ( tel 01706 658619 ) at about £14 for a tin. provides a great shine and last well too.

www.meguiars.co.uk
American products that have just started being distributed in the U.K. I would recommend the Quik clay detailing system followed by a coat of wax. You'll be amazed at the difference the clay makes, and its only £11.99. Zymol charge £10.00 for a bit about a tenth the size.

For what it is worth,if you go to Meguirs web site you can put in the year and make of vehicle you have and they will tell you what they recommend,I did this for my 1987-944S and I purchased the 3 products they recommended,#1 a paint cleaner,#2 a paint polish and #3 a wax.The item#1 did a fantastic job of cleaning my white paint,I could not believe the difference. The polish and then the wax made a huge difference on my paint,I highly recommend.

Thanks for everyone's responses.

Decided I am not enough of a perfectionist to spend £100 on Zymol cleaner and wax.

I am going to try and track down some 3M swirl mark remover, followed by the Blitz wax and see how it goes.

Cheers.

I totally agree. I've used both Zymol and Mcguirs. I've found the Zymol does a great job with a 1-application process, but for the look, durability, and overall appeal, the 3-step McGuirs has done marvelously. I have a black truck and a white 944, both stored outside at the beach, so I've had a battle since day-one. After 9 years +, niether car is oxydized!!

Good luck!
