WASTEGATE MOUNTING
I saw several pictures of mounted WasteGate and it seems there is 2 way to do that:
- 1st : like factory with WG valve on the exhaust side
- 2nd: WG valve on the inlet side
What is the best ?
It seems the factory mounting is back-up in case of cycling valve failure thus allowing exhaust gases to push open the WG valve
Is that correct ? Or aftermarket WG are working differently ?
