Rear seat remodel
While putting in speakers, I went ahead and removed all the rear seat stuff in the 968, since no one could sit back there anyway. Now I need to do something with that space and I'm curious what others have done. I was thinking I could extend the rear floor a bit more, or do a cab type storage thing but I'd like to be able to lay the seats back too. I was thinking some type of partition with a curve towards the rear and sloped down to a shelf in the the front. Anyone done any cools mods back there?

I know some guys have a storage container back there that looks perfect... you still have the remaining trunk almost as if you laid down the seats before they were removed and you have extra storage space. You can also make a speaker box in the same format if you'd rather have audio instead of storage space and still retain the trunk area. Just some ideas.

[QUOTE=KuHL 951;7975347]Gee, that looks sort of familiar. Actually my 951 and amps were mounted on the underside as a stealth option. It was very practical and provided great storage without losing the ability to fold it down for long stuff.
Lol it should be it's yours after you hide those amps from view.Pics of a nice rear seat deleted are pretty rare hope you don't mind if I kept it.

Rear seat delete is the way to go. Beside pre-schoolers, who could possibly fit in them? Not to mention the weight reduction. I wonder if some kind of stabilizing rod would work between the mounting points of the old seat?

Hadn't even thought about searching a term like "rear seat delete". Good one.
Hey Matt, do you ever really get one "done"? I never seem to, but the 968 is at least close. Oh, hold that..I still gotta throw a V8 in this thing..
Thanks all
