Default Hi from So Cal.

Hi there all. Boy am I glad I found this place! I own an 87 924S and was surfing the net looking for parts for suspension upgades. I bought the car, well...yes for enjoyment...but also as a way to bring the adults and teens at our church together. The car guys have passed on great skills to them. After we got Tuffy (the car) dialed in a bit i started autocrossing here in the San Diego region with the PCA.

Anyway, I have found a possible answer to my recent bout of heat into the car. And hopefully helped someone with a window issue.

The suspension items I am looking for are 350lb front springs, and 28mm torsion bars for the rear. Sooooo if anyone has some sitting around, let me know!

Thanks
Mark

I actully live in the Temecula area, though my church is in Escondido. We have lots of friends in the San Diego Region PCA and that is where we attend Porsche events.

Hi Mark,

I've got a pair of 250lb Weltmeister springs if you want them. You do realize, though, that you won't find anything bigger in a stock diameter? Stiffer than that and you'll need to modify the strut for a smaller diameter spring. The upside is that opens up many more options for spring rate and you get an adjustable spring perch so ride height is easily changed. Paragon and Ground Control both have kits to do the mod.

Hey Mark, I am in Temecula also. I am currently working on an LT1 swap though, no 944s on the road at the moment.
