What happened to the flash.... Fog lights
I know that during the day with headlights off when you pull on the arm to flash the lights the fog lights are supposed to come on. Mine do nothing. I can't flash anyone. However at night when I have the headlights on and the fog lights on if I put the high beams on the fog lights go off. What happened, or what do I check.

in the US you cant run the fogs and the high beams at once...correct me if im wrong but i think its the # of bulbs running at anytime is a max of 4...you'll have to separate the two and have them run independently. i've done this on my stealth but havent gotten around to the 951 yet.

in the daytime with the bucket lights down, you can still flash if you have the headlight **** turned to the first detent (Just before the buckets rotate up) and you have the foglight switch flipped down. Now, you just flip the foglight switch on or off.
Go park infront of a store with glass windows and play with your lights.

I have the Euro lights with the driving lights instead of the reflectors. I tried this out of curiousity last night after seeing this thread yesterday.
Even with my lights all turned off, pulling the stalk back flashes my new driving lights...Pretty cool I thought
Cheers!

That's the way it's supposed to work, i.e., fogs flash without lights on. My 84 works that way but, the wiring has also been altered to allow the fogs to work along with high beam headlights. This was done by a Porsche mechanic (dealer) years ago and I have no clue how he did it. I like the option for more light even though I'm probably breaking numerous DOT laws. I know I should feel guilty, but I don't!

The fogs on mine are on with low beam and my new driving lights with high beams. Although it might be breaking a DOT regulation with my extra driving lights, I try to always make sure my lights are well aimed (and those driving lights being right on the ground if aimed right shouldn't be blinding anybody anyway) and turn to low beam as soon as I have traffic that might be affected by them (in front of me going the same way or oncoming) to minimize any problems. The extra light where I live where there are often no street lights and late at night seldom even any traffic is much needed and appreciated.
Cheers!
