Default Antenna Delete Plug.?(86' 944)

I recently took off my antenna and now there's just a hole in my quarter panel where it used to be. /; is there a delete plug for this. Just wondering.

thats not where the antenna was from the factory so there is no commonly available plug for it.

In the windshield. The 83-85.1 had an electric antenna in the DS front fender well. If yours is in the rear quarter it was done by some previous owner.

Dammit. That means I'll have to make up something to cover it. /;

Lowes and Home Depot have an entire selection of plastic hole plugs for around $0.70 each. They will usually look like a factory piece when in the hole.

I used this one as a wiper delete plug on my car. I found a real wiper delete plug at the junk yard later and decided not to use it. The plastic plug looks better and is lighter (FWIW)

nice idea cole.

if you really wanted you could fiberglass the underside of the hole and use some filler and touchup paint..

I'm not sure what I'll do just yet. The lowes/home depot idea works but its not a circular hole more of an oval... /;

Go to your local honda or Acura dealer and ask for a antenna delete plug: Probably cheaper at the honda dealer

The part number for the plug is:

82871-671-000 GROMMET (25MM)

Worked perfectly on my 84 944 when I just installed a hidden antenna instead of the OEM power one which broke...

My 924S has the antenna on the front fender, it has some sort of plug in it. Sorry, only picture I have of it.
