Well for starters I would paint the exhaust black. That would help a lot. What does it look like with the other diffuser piece installed?

No matter what I am sure it helped free up the engine.

should i paint the tips black too? I think i'll try to get some real tips, maybe chrome rolled ends? or is that too much...i'm kinda thinking that's too much...do you think black all the way out would really look good?

oh, and van...most of what you hear are geese, but we do have some chickens too...haha

I would start with the mufflers, and go from there.

This is the type of muffler I was thinking of.

Or something like this with the 'normal' orientation.

i was looking at that dual in dual out muffler, but the only way i could fit it with the dual 3 inch pipes is to turn it 90 degrees and have them come out on top of each other, which would defeat the purpose...two 3 inch pipes are too big to easily build over the axle, so i built them around the axle, one over by a bunch, one that runs under the axle by heading straight toward it, then "u"-ing under the axle and back up to the back of the bottom muffler...it looks funny because of the top muffler, the bottom one is very close (actually a little higher) than where my old muffler sat.

The sound is great but the look not so much, not at all. Can't you use a "u" bend to run over the axle and then drop to the same height as the one running under the axle, something like this http://www.magnumforceracing.com/store4/ubends.htm . Should look something like this with that dual in dual out muffler

haha yeah!

you all haven't seen it in person and i invite anyone who's local to come out and look for themselves, it looks a LOT lower than it really is in the video because of the placement of the car and because of the silver mufflers. catamax that muffler looks lower than the bottom muffler in my setup...i think with the mufflers painted black and maybe two 3.5 inch tips it will look much better in pictures. and i'll try to take pictures of how much room i have to run the pipes up over the axle...it's very tight with 3 inch pipe...you need at least 6 1/2 inches side to side to go over with both, and you really can't get that very easily (read: it would take me hours and hours and a lot more money in tubing to snake a second pipe up along with the first over the axle)

Why take both over the axle ? Like i said use a "u" bend on the one going over the axle to be able to drop it to the same height of the one going under the axle. Can't you do that?

Sounds fine, looks like crap. Sorry to be brutally honest man. Why not turn the mufflers 90 degrees and run them side by side? I think that would be much better.
