It's 1200 tickets multiplied by $100 = $120,000. The 2 year membership is being DONATED by John D. and Rennlist as a VERY generous incentive. John, what happened??? In Father & Son Web site there is this message... "We are sorry if we caused any inconvenience to our customers, but unfortunately Make A Wish has forced us to remove the invitation to purchase a ticket and make a donation."

Well - here is the deal - or what I can make of it so far.....

I've been asked to "hold" the Raffle for right now, until the National M-A-W Foundation can figure out how to not anger all the "M-A-W Regions". Yea - an internal snafu... In short, I think that the M-A-W Region (in MA) forgot to tell National that the Internet would be used to publicize the Raffle..??? The good news is that - apparently, this has been far more successful the M-A-W could have wished for..

Anyway - I hope to have updates soon..!!!

And to all of you - this has been a pleasure to promote and be involved with (and I hope to be able to re-launch the site soon!). Frankly, I am humbled by the generosity and support by many of you... For that - you have my sincerest and warmest "thanks"....

For those of us who did make a donation before the offer had to be pulled from the internet, do all the original goodies still apply ( two year Rennlist, delivery when I win and such )?

I received my Make A Wish ticket yesterday and it says the drawing was on 1/18/02 so the drawing happened before I ( we ) bought tickets and it was brought to the Rennlist on 2/15/02 ???

Same situation here... Did we make a donation or bought tickets to a future drawing ? The tickets did mentioned that if the total amount was not reached they would do it again until they reached the minimal amount.

Any updates John? and how do we go about getting the Rennlist membership?
