Post Check out the Aquamist Cars, including mine!!

For those who may find this interesting, check out some of the cars who have installed the Aquamist Water/Alcohol injection systems. I am the only 944 Turbo listed. The web site is linked here.

Active Autowerke, a BMW tuning company out of Miami, makes a water/alcohol injection system for BMWs. Dan, is that the system you installed? It is reportedly a useful upgrade to keep temperatures down and keep the engine running well.

David

A little OT, but are you satisfied with the Siemens injectors....?

Would you go that route again for an injector of the same spec...?

Regards

Turbo Grand Nationals and DSMs have been having lots of succes with DIY versions of the aquamist. A lot less expensive...

My dad suggested it, but I wasn't sure if I could do it in a 944... Cool. He's got one in his 88 Chevy truck on an overbored 383. He says its great.

Did anyone check out the twin-turbo Jeep? I'd be scared to flip it over. Reminds of a R/C car I used to have called "Wild *****".

Thanks for all the comments guys. I seem to have got the Aquamist system working well now. During my last track event, between the Aquamist injection and intercooler sprayer, and the new oil cooler, my car stayed cool and the power held up throughout the sessions. Before, as the car got hot, I would have a noticable loss of power to where 968s could stay with me--but not anymore <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

There goes cooling air while splashing through water!

Isn't the PT Cruiser a Chrysler not a Ford?
