I'd want to see the guys at EA make a car addon for the Cayenne in Need for Speed: Porsche.

Also Ferrari should now also step into the picture and produce a V12 turbo SUV to outdo Porsche.

After that the market is wide open for Lotus and TVR to battle it out for a 1,200kg SUV with no luggage space or back seats.

And I wonder how the cabriolet version of the SUV looks, or will we only get a dual targa model.

With these ideas I should be a car designer. I couldn't do much worse than Porsche's most recent model.

On the bright side maybe the Porsche name will devalue heaps and 911's will become affordable again.

Sam.

I don't know about Ferrari, but Lamborghini did make a SUV, the "LM".

yeah the LM is a bad *** machine. Lamborghini only made 241 of these giants. They have the Lamborghini's 4-valve 5.2 Litre Countach V-12 carburator-engine that makes 450 Bhp and 500 Nm of torque. the weight was 2,700 KG, and they were capable of doing 210 Km/h.

LM? Isn't that a German derogation. It means something like "lechen sie miche" which is a shortened reference to "lecken Sie mich auf dem Arschloch". This was supposedly said by Martin Luther when he was escencially declared a heretic by the pope after he posted his "95 Thesis" and had to appear before the Imperial Diet of Worms.

I don't know much about the history of the name of the car, but here is some more information and history.

<a href="http://www.lambocars.com/framed/lm/lm002.htm" target="_blank">LM History</a>

I found somewhere else that the LM did 0-60 in 7.8 sec, so take it for what it's worth

"There will always be sports cars, even if the ordinary workaday car is swept away and replaced by something else, people would still be wanting sporting vehicles. You don't see many working horses today - but there are more horses than ever for sport and leisure. And so, because Porsche make only sports cars, there will always be a Porsche..."

I've decided I like the Cayenne. But I've also decided to wait for the Ferrari SUV offering. What the hell, Babs, we DESERVE it.

Now, where did I leave my bone studs? Off to the club, Henri won't hold that table for long...

Wegie944,

I was joking, and obviously at a level that went way over everyones heads. My reference to LM was regarding Martin Luther telling the Emperor and the Pope "lechen sie miche" which means lick me, or actually what he supposedly really said was "lecken Sie mich auf dem Arschloch" which means lick me on the *******. Pretty bold talk for the 16th century huh?

Pretty much sums up how I feel about most SUVs too.

Actually, Martin Luther was renowned for his scatological sense of humor. You should've SEEN what he wrote in response to Henry VIII's diatribe against Luther. What a joker...
