I am sure anything can be done. It's just sitting in my garage waiting for a new home.

Once they get yellow, they stay yellow.

Its yours sir! Do you want the longer wheel studs?

On the coolant tank, i thought there was a thread regarding how you can chemically clean up your older coolant tank.

I thought about trying it, but decided to just sell it instead. I have to many projects. I think some folks were using coffee grounds and Oxi clean. Other using some type of chemical.

Question regarding the solar panel:
The panel is normal placed on either the front or rear windshield. It is mounted by 4 suction cups. This is an OEM panel used by VW and Porsche. The dealers specifically advised all mechanics to destroy these panels. My friend who is a mechanic decided to hold onto them. My local Porsche dealer is using several of these on the new Porsche sitting outside. (997, 987...etc)

2 scoops of drip coffee and a bunch of water with viggorous shaking works like a charm.

What the heck is the solar panel? What's it used for? Is it just a reflector, or is it some sort of power generating device???

Yes it is for maintaining your battery strength. Here is one picture of the coolant container and the other is the solar panel.

I have a couple of those, used to work at VW. Have the OBD version as well. They work really well if your car is parked outside.

The turbo 1986 hubs are back on the market. Please PM if you are interested. I want these gone asap. Questions or concerns please PM me. Its nice to have an extra set of hubs when converting your car to fit a later wheel offset.
