I've got an HY35 waiting for me to find some time... Not a direct bolt-on, so need to actually have a free weekend to build a new DP and modify the cross-over.

But guys... What do you fell about 944 with an LS V8 motor? Wrong...?
Have the good looking , awesome handling Porsche with a cheap , powerful aluminium V8...
I think its wrong... But it is the cheapes way to getting 944 real power.

it's king kong with a "Fast" 102 mm intake, about 8.5 thousand dollars and 445 hp...
properly taken care of w/ plenty of fresh Mobile 1, the engine is likely to outlive the driver.
and you can show at the Texas Mile....
with the other you can work on it a lot, but it's still a lot of fun to drive.
at some point, and i'd hazzard guessing maybe some point after 80 k miles, you break even on $$$.
i'll take tons of **** for saying that, but that's just my 0.02.

thank you. the bright spots in the american automotive industry are few. this is one.
unless you get a custom gearset made...torque tube should be fine with a good rebuild, the 928 guys are putting like 700hp in some cases through theirs and they have the same bearings we do...maybe some 930 axles or custom?

the weak link is the input shaft. and when it breaks, well...
