The Mardi Gras PCA is having a DE and Crawfish boil this weekend, and a couple of us from the MS area are going down. I'll be in a gold turbo and the other person going will be driving a silver 914. Stop by if you're around.

I won't be going this time, but I definitely plan on trying out that track one day. If you ever do a DE here in Memphis, look me up. I'm the only Midsouth PCA member with an S2.

BTW, I will be doing the DE at the new Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham later this month. Should be awsome!

I wanted to do the DE at Barber, but am buying a house and need tires and brake pads. I think I'll end up doing the SCCA autocross school and autocross that weekend. Not as much fun, but I get my fix.

Tye, I'll look you up if I get up there, but I PCS back to Dover in July making time limited. Dan Blumenthal insttructs with you guys and has a fast 951.

ELLSSUU, I enjoyed talking with you guys. Bring the car down for a while.

BTW, I met Dan in Talladega last year at a Ferrari track day. He took my 13 year old daughter for a ride and did a spin off the track. My daughter loved it! She also got to ride in a 360 spider -- she REALLY loved that!! I rode with Dan later that day and we went off track again (I loved it too). His car is fast (I think that he's spent $20k on his motor!) and he seems to be a pretty nice guy.

Death in the family. I'll not be there this weekend, sorry.

Dean, I will go to the shop and work on a few things Sunday, before the funeral, to work out some personal builtup steam. I'll probably head that way Thursday to try to finish it up and maybe attach some Technology Twists with Yoko's.
