Hey Dennis, I am a member, and in comparing member numbers, for longer than you. I still don't like plowing through page after page of esults to try and find the answer to my search.
I do like Matt's idea for an FAQ, I was just stating why you see so freaking many reposts.

For AX - open face. Fo DE, TT, or Race - closed face. Determine the approximate value of your head to figure the appropriate relative cost of a helmet. e.g. if you have a $100 head, get a $100 helmet. Be sure it has the latest SA certification available (currently 2000), as most helmets go out of use in 5 years or less. Try to find a local place to buy (or at least sample), as head sizes are nearly as fickle as shoe sizes.

This is great Matt, I only have two or three really stupid questions left. As soon as I figure out a way to "work" them into the thread I'll be one happy camper!

How bout a section on the potential, probable large upside to the value of a 944 as a collector car.
Seems the value increases exponentially to the amount of modifications made to the car.
Im sure there are plenty of experts in the car collecting arena that are clammoring to put their two cents in.
Ill post pictures of the museum Im building for 944s.
