Is that a 27/6? 29/8? How many times are you going to put the belts on this one?

So, do you always build engines in your dining room?

Thanks guys!

-1 set of belts for this one.
-Good sockets and a light touch takes care of the powder coat (and preping the bolts before coating)
-That is a K27/8
-Yup, I am building the bottom half in my kitchen. My garage is not the best environment to store loose parts and put things together in a "clean" room. The fun will be getting it down a flight of stairs!

More pics on the way. Wait till the top end is on! Finally I have something to be excited about!

Jason -

I will be working on it. I did not put the pistons/rods in since I know you wanted to see that process. I will do that tonite if my circlip is in. (Ordered 4 from the dealer a month ago, dealer gave me 3 correct ones, and 1 that was from something else).

Call me later this evening if you want to stop by.

Perry:

Looks great! Should not be too long now.

Down the stairs! We need a video of that.
Might consider hauling it down the stairs before you put the head on.

I put my crank girdle on inside the house, because, in the garage, when I froze it, the condensation formed before I had finished torquing the nuts. I had to freeze it to get it anywhere close to being flush. Took four tries to get it right. Hopefully, mine will actually start this weekend. Lot to do before then.
