Post New BMW Z4 - only better

I'm not sure how much you guys have checked out the new Z4, but I fricking love it. I think the styling is gorgeous, except for the front end. So I took it upon myself to photoshop a better one. M5 lights and grill surrounds, facia by yours truely.

Let me know what you think...

Before...

After...

I like the after much better. The before looks too much like an S2000. Not that I would turn my nose up at either one.

Your after looks very very good. You should submit it to a BMW forum and also BMW themselves (if you can find a contact).

I don't like the idea that most of the new BMW's will go after the new 7 styling. I think the 7's look great, but that is only from the size of them.

You're great with Photoshop, awesome job! The edited image looks way better. It looks like it would take on the Carrera GT!

That is gorgeous. Send that to every tuner out there as well as BMW, that changes my entire opinion about the car.

I saw one of these babies on the road! I was coming back from elmira new york and It was going in the opposite direction, It doesn't look so bad in person. It was definitely a Z4, no doubt about it. it's much bigger than the Z3

Thanks for the kind words guys.

I doubt any BMW brass would have any interest, I think the car is pretty far along the design process. Plus, its obvious they're trying to move the brand image toward the ugly *** new 7's styling.

Ah well. Maybe Dinan or Schnitzer will take interest in making some better looking air dams. But I doubt they could do much to the shape of the hood/lights.

better get used to the new bmw styling (z4, new 7 series) cuz bmw likes to be a few years ahead of the game... soon all models will follow suit. come on, its not that bad, its just 'different' . and your design is quite obviously trying to stay the same

Wow, that after pic looks really good.

I havent seen the new 6 pics yet, but Im REALLY curious to see what the 1 series is gonna look like. Supposedly they are going to make a coupe, hatchback, and an "M1." Not sure what they will cal the "M1" as that name is already taken... but I imagine they will compete with that miniature Merc and perhaps some of those small "Pre-riced" "Lexi" (Lexuses)

That after is exactly what they should have made it look like!! Great job!

I am convinced that the designer of the Pontiac Aztec has found a new home at BMW. The new 7 looks like a Bonneville...

I have seen the new 7's in person, and they look worse in person. I am dreading seeing the new Z.

Oh well...I truly only love the M5 and M3. The standard 3's and 5's are good looking though..not looking forward to the updating on those machines.

just my .02

hey danG why don't you work your magic on a new front end for a s2 or turbo for the guys at fiberwerks. I am looking for something that will update my S2 to look more like the 05 911 below.
