I just wanted to post this to praise Meridian Auto Parts! I purchased a remanufactured steering rack for my wife's 16v from them, and I couldn't be more pleased. Top-notch all the way!! The piece is absolutely perfect - better than new! It was obviously packaged with extreme care and return postage for the core was pre-paid. And the price was comparable to USED racks, never mind rebuilt or other remanufactured pieces - and that includes a lifetime warranty!! But best of all was the service. They were pleasant and perfectly helpful ever step of the way. It was a completely perfect experience, which is getting rare these days. If your steering isn't 100% of what it could be, I HIGHLY recommend Meridian!!

So it's wrong for someone to be enthusiastic about a purchase that they just made for their car and to tell others about? Quit your whining, just because it's on Rennlist doesn't mean that you have to read it.

One of the biggest values of this forum is the exchanging of information. Be it service info or supplier recomendations, its all good. I personally like being an informed buyer.

I would add that an offer of an additional discount from the supplier is certainly worthy of praise.

And if this discount was offered due to praise from ArticCzar, then praise to ArticCzar.

All right, all right. Two current threads extolling the services of a supplier seemed a little much. I don't mind people talking about good ones, but this seemed to be a little over the top.

This thread started back in Sept, when Czar recieved his rack. I started the other one this past week, after Meridian was mentioned as a possible source for racks over on the turbo board, and group purchasing was discussed. I had called Dara and we talked pricing, and he was asking where all of the interested parties were--I told him Rennlist, he agreed to the previously-mentioned group rates, and decided to check out Rennlist for himself-hence rejuvinating this post. I think positive buzz about a product/supplier is a good thing considering all of the questionable ones out there.
