Post What is an Altitude Compensator?

That thing that's in the passenger-side footwell, underneath the battery. I think the name is Altitude Compensator or something like that, and mine is rusted. What's the function of it?

It signals your DME to reduce air-fuel ratio by about 6% when at altitude with thinner air...
