Default Which bushings?

I am going to upgrade my suspension on my street 944 NA (weekend car):

- Koni sport all around
- 225 lb/inch springs
- 26mm torsion bars
- 968 M030 sway bars

I want to know what you would recommend for the bushings. I would like to avoid an extra harsh ride, so I was thinking about sticking to OEM rubber (but replacing with new ones).

I am getting the 968 caster blocks, and OEM rubber or Weltmeister restoration kit for the front of control arm. HOWEVER I can't find new OEM rubber bushings for the rear bushings.

- Would the Weltmeister poly graphite set in the back be overkill / too harsh ?

- Should I not bother messing with the rear bushings if I want to keep rubber ? (although I'm going to get the torsion bars changed anyway?)

Thanks !

Elephant Racing Polybronze. No harshness and no squeaking.

My friend and I just finished installing monoball caster blocks and OEM rubber front bushings.

Good ride quality.

Are there any other reviews as to the ride quality of the other parts made by ER of their monoball selection?

In that case, you'll probably want to stick with stock. Might be able to find a good secondhand set.

You can buy the new spring plate assembly complete with bushings from Porsche. Not cheap though.

Are they early steel, or later alloy arms?

I bought a set of custom chromoly control arms with spherical joints through VT951 on this board. His brother is a custom fabricator and did a fantastic job.

Oh yea, I remember those:

https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-...ntrol-arm.html

Wasn't thinking suspension when that thread popped up, still a ways away from that step of the rebuild, but something to keep in mind.

Thanks!

Same idea behind a control arm option for the 928 I'm hoping to do:

Good work! My recommendation for greasing polybronze is SKF's LGEV2 grease: http://www.mapro.skf.com/pub/pds/LGEV2_datasheet_e.pdf
