The alarm in my 91 S2 goes off randomly when it is armed.
It used to happen after really long drives but has been happening more and more frequently now.

I tried to follow the bypass instructions on clark's but I have a completely different alarm unit, its has a 928 part number 928.618.260.00

I tried searching on the 928 forums but their bypass instructions include jumping a pin from the alarm module to supply 12v to the DME at pin 27.
my S2 dme is clearly different so I'm lost.

I figured out how to lock the doors without arming the system so for now I can lock my car without worrying about the alarm going off but i would like to either bypass this or fix it!

you can hit the central locking switch with the drivers door closed and it locks both doors without arming the alarm
