Post Need help (wrecked the car this morning)

Its not a big wreck but enought to **** me off. Heres what happened, I was on my way to work (it was raining), I just got past the gate and was taking a left turn. I wasn't speeding but the back end hit some standing water and started to spin. I was first headed straight at the curb on the left, then I spun it back around to the right. The car ended up on the curb. The only damage that I can see is my rim.

I'm not sure if there is any damage under the car, I took a quick look and it looks fine, it drove ok too when I put the spare on. I need to replace 2 rims, the back one and the front one. The back one for obvious reasons (see the pic) and the front one on the same side (drivers side) because its had a bow in it for a while (hit a 3" rock a few months ago at 40mph, couldn't avoid it).

Does anyone know where I can get four rims/tires today? I'm thinking about getting 4 millie miglia cup 3's from tire rack with kuhmo ecstas mounted and balanced for 1500.48 including 2 day shipping.

I live in the NOVA/DC/MD area, can someone help?

I think 15x7 phone dials go for about $125 ea from Junkyards. I don't know of any near you though.

Find MadMax here on the forum. He's in Annapolis and I think he still has a set of Design 90's (with rubber) that will fit your car.

His email is MAXSKY606@aol.com

There is salvage place in Upper Marlboro that supposedly handles a number of 944's, I believe the name is Brandywine Auto Parts.

I also have a set of phone dials closing today. Bid on them if you want them

Let me know if you want the twists as I have many offers on them but I would like to see them go to a lister in need.

If you just want to replace what you've got (no upgrade), try a Google search for 944 Ecology's web site & phone number. He's a dismantler in upstate NY, and does 924's & 944's exclusively. No idea of price, but the service was good the one time I used him.

Jim, back to the lab...

I have my set of 16" Dials with rubber to get you going. (may want to replace in the near future).

Pretty good shape, no curb rash. Make me an offer if you want to remain stock.

Seriously look carefully at your suspension. Doesn't take much side force to bend things like strut towers and front and rear spindles.

Last time I took out two rims on the same side I drove over a diesel truck stack in my lane. It was either hit it or go into the car to the side of me. Bent the heck out of the 83's steel suspension bedides taking out the two rims.

Looks like you'll also be needing a new oriental rug!?

Glad the rest of the car is OK! Could have been worse!

Also, for $90, www.rimandwheelworks.com straightened my bent phone-dial. You may wanna salvage one as a cheap spare.

Thanks for the help everyone but I went for the millie cup 3 replicas off of tire rack. Came to a total of 1500.48 after 2 day shipping mounting balancing, and 4 kumho ecsta's.
