Default 944 or General Porsche Presents this holiday??

I got Hood Struts!!!!

I have been banging my head trying to hold the hood up, ever since i bought this car; because of blown hood struts!!!

My brother got them for me as a gift!!! Excellent, now i will be able to drink a beer and look under my hood at the same time!!!

Anyone else get a great P-Car gift this season???

I'm not sure how good I've been, but I picked up an early '85 for myself. It's my future track car, so I'm pretty excited.

$100 gift card for parts, new tool box so i can actually organize my tools. and i also got 2 new pairs of mecanix gloves, and a new light w/outlet built-in. not exactly porsche or 944, but it will help with the preservation of it.

Got me a set of "driving shoes" (Set of pumas), as well as money towards a new brake and clutch MC, and SS lines. Yay

You may want to do a little research before buying new hatch struts... They will accelerate separation of the glass and frame in my opinion.

I got a set of axle assemblies. Theoretically, they'll be installed on the car next week. which would be good, I'm sick of driving this ford ranger...

Bought myself a new HV fuel pump...

Not the Lindsey or Paragon pump, but a Bosch 69429, which is actually a little higher volume flow rate than those (but lower than the "044"), but has a 12mm inlet (same as stock) and has a lower current draw than those also.

Will receive it after I get home from Xmas vacation. Probably won't install it for a couple months. I'm gonna get new lines and hardware too.

I bought a new in-car hardwired fire system.

In a more general sense, my parents bought me the Paul Newmann racing book. Since it has pics of him driving 911's and the GT1, I think that counts for Porsche content
