Can't wait to get your impression on this, good luck and "godspeed" on the re-install.
May the Porsche gods remind you where all the correct lenght bolts and nuts go.....

BTW, What are the detailed specs of your new engine..?
Just thought you'd like this opportunity to fill us in, being we're missing the pizza run due to dismantled cars or too far a distance to attend..

Cheers

The block will have Chromoly sleeves installed and taper bored from 100mm to 106mm. I will be useing JE custom pistons with stock rods and crank. I am on a very limited budget, so I will have to do this engine in stages. This is the first stage which includes the bore, pistons, boost controler, wastgate, and rebuild. Next will be the Tech 3 along with boost tubes blowoff and exhaust. After that, Level 4 Garrit turbo and injectors. Finaly, cross drilled and knife edged crany with bilit rods. I have no idea what kind of power this will make, but it should be fun!
Time to go back to sanding my intake manafold, while waiting for parts. I'm going on about 6 hours of sanding so fare and I'm only about half way done with the first setp <img src="graemlins/cussing.gif" border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" /> !

How much is stage 1 going to be running you? If I could ever get past my suspension, and restoring the car to "looking" nice, I could continue on with my Engine modifications. Stupid glass I plan on doing all the bolt up stuff first, considering my block is solid (for now, keeping fingers crossed), but would like to know what to expect when it goes.

Hey Chris,

Polishing the intake is a pain, I put in 40+ hours on mine last year. I am now having it powder coated while the engine is out ,it was just too much trouble keeping it nice and shiny.

I hope our pistons come in soon, I am running out of things to do while I wait on my engine, repacked the CV joints today.
