Post Specials on exhaust by SFR

Hi John

You mentioned in your post on 3/21/02 that there will be a special sale on exhausts beginning the next day, but I cannot find any evidence of that on the SFR website or the Rennlist forum.

I want to take advantage of the sale you promised to replace my stock exhaust with yours from the turbo back. To eliminate both cat and muffler will be too loud, I think, so I'll probably keep either one component in the system. Which would you recommend in terms of better HP and torque gain: testpipe + catback or cat replacement + straightpipe? I am sure all your pipes are much better than stock in terms of weight, flow and quality. What about your cat or muffler? Much less restrictive than stock? What are the other components necessary to complete the replacement? All the possible components are listed on your website but like a fellow Rennlister who posted the same problem before, I find it a little confusing as to which goes where. I also notice you do not have any headers. Is it because the stock headers do not pose any restriction?

Looking forward to hearing from you, John.

dr, I think the pizza run has SFR preoccupied right now, use the email at the SFR site and inquire there. I'm replacing my cat-back, and Tim quoted $399.00 for the '87 951, but I don't know about the rest of the stuff you require.
Hope this helps..

We just had the Pizza run, I was going to bring the price list home with me...but forgot...I deserve a flogging.

DrSimon, we are running the special on the test pipe, its 100.00 off the normal retail...I forget the numbers and am too tired to look at the site right now...but its 100.00 off I know that for sure.
I believe the level one MAF kits (the closest competitor is the HR stage III) is now on sale for 1199.00 300.00 off retail..and there are a few others...oh, the level one turbo is back at a special price of 849.00 this is the garrett bolt on turbo...capable of 400 at the tires with a proper motor but will most likely give you about 330 at the rears with the level MAF kit we have on sale.

I'll post the rest of the bargains monday night...sorry for the lag...:-)
