Default Making Delrin Bushings?

I read in Excellence magazine about a 914 auto-x'er who made his own Delrin bushings. Anyone ever tried this?

if you have access to a CNC, take your part that needs a bushing along with a regular bushing, measure them up and make it

If they are round bushings, you don't need a CNC, just an ordinary lath.

Would be super simple to make on a lathe. I have access to a bunch of CNC lathes at work... too bad I'm not really full time anymore with school.

But... (dont get your hopes up) If someone measures and gives me a drawing I can see what I can do as far as a small, low cost production run.

Thanks for the replies. I do not have access to a CNC. If it can be done with a regular lathe.....where would I buy the delrin to run on a lathe?
