I'm fine with 924s and 968s...but a 928 might be too much. Might as well bring a panamera then.

Sounds cool, I'll definitely pay a visit next time I head down there!

Absolutely. In fact, every previous meet we've had has always been: "Central Florida Porsche 924/944/968/928 Gathering" however other than a slue of 944's there has only been one single 924 to show up. So I condensed the name to just 944. I would LOVE for some more of these models to come, so please feel welcome to bring your 968!

Sounds good, I would love it if you came! IIRC your car is looking a bit different now than it did a few years ago when I saw it at the Rolex!
And yep, I should be there with one car or the other, not sure yet. Hopefully we'll be able to meet!

Haha honestly everybody, and I mean anybody and everybody, is welcome to come to this. You could bring moms minivan or uncle bill's geo metro and I would not mind a bit! Besides, if anyone shows up with a newer watercooled P-car it would probably be you!

I just got my 951 less than a year ago and I'm kind of new to the forum. I missed last year's event. Will definetly make it this year. My car is not a show car since I rescued it from the middle of a field in West Palm Beach with a spun bearing. Was sitting for a few years and a couple of hail storm dmamged its sheet metal and needs paint. Hope I get accepted with a faded paint and a few dents. I spent all my money rebuilding the engine and a few performance modifications.

Welcome! And that sounds like a cool project! What part of Miami are you from? I actually grew up in Coral Gables and Coconut Grove myself.

There is actually a good handful of 944/951/968/928/etc. guys down there whom I'll contact once I set the date. If I get any responses from these SFL people I will get you in contact with them so you can cruise up together.

PS, don't worry about the car being in rough shape... My 951 is actually a bit rough too!

Looking forward to meeting you guys soon.

Does anybody already have plans in March? Last year this was in March, and the weather was perfect. If there are any other car events or something happening during this time then I'll try to avoid scheduling on the same day...

I'll try to make it if one of the cars cooperates. It should be fun.

Scot, would love to have you join us. If we are lucky I think you might even get to see a really nice 951 in your color... Nautic Blue!

Just for reference; the 12 Hours of Sebring is the weekend of March 17-20. There's usually a good-size Porsche corral that might compete for some Florida 944's that weekend. I'm really looking forward to your get-together and seeing a bunch of 944's all in one place.

A red '89 944 NA, a really ugly '85.1 944 NA track car project, or an '02 Boxster S if the 944s don't cooperate.

By the way, I saw photos of your 951 on Florida German shortly after you got it. It didn't look rough at all. Nice find.

I live near Downtown Miami, in the Design District area. Would like to meet new people with 944. I also own a 76 911 wich I'm converting it into a 73 Carrera RS clone with a 3.6 out of a 993.
