I plan on getting a set of FRC (fuel rail covers) but probably the ones similar to a G8, they dont say anything. But i am not sure yet. Thanks for the ideas. Its a Loooong way from done.
The possibility of wires getting worn or burned is the only reason I couldn't see myself doing this. I mean, I'm paranoid enough with the way Porsche ran everything (with vac lines running over and under things, along wires etc.) Can't imagine if I were to misplace a wire and not think about extra hot motor parts, or moving parts!

clearly the solution would be to get an MSD ignition box mounted on the fender, putting 2 2bbl carbs on custom runners and installing an electric vacuum pump off in the corner somewhere.

Actually 90% of the improvements that you see in my origonal picture are simply moving the battery to the hatch. The ENTIRE harness that runs across the firewall is battery wires, they feed the relay panel. there is one small harness for the cruise if you have it. There is also a vac line that runs to the resevoiur by the battery but in my pic i moved it to the rear airbox mount to eliminate that also. The wires could actually be considered better protected this way...
Fine. Look at you guys with all your smartness 'n crap. lol. I admit that this would be pretty fun. I might try it on my Saturn and then work at it on the 951, along with the vac delete and some other things.
Did I mention that I'm just really paranoid? Like all the time about my car? haha
