Default Wrapped my center console in alcantara

Since the PO decided to drill holes on the side of it (cupholder I'm guessing?), I decided to rewrap the whole thing. It came out nearly perfect, the pictures don't do it justice (the flash washes it out). I'll take more pics tomorrow when I put it back together with my new alpine head unit.

I've also rewrapped the lower half of my doors and most likely will do the dash, whenever i get a weekend to take it off.

Here's more pics, it doesn't look purple at all in daylight, just black/real dark gray. I got the material from JoAnne (sp?) fabric store, they call it microsude. Compared to the real thing, it just seems little shorter on the hairs (compared to the R8 headliner).

Great work! How difficult is it to do this? And do you mind if I ask where/how much materials were?

Awesome!

I just recovered my console lid in cashmere leather.

Factory was $180, used on ebay was $150, and the auto uphoslterer sold me a piece of leather for $10 and it took me 25 minutes to fit it.

I used the grey color to do the headliner in a 74 Crew Cab Chevy I am doing a resto mod on.

Ignore the sweet 80s seats in the picture.

I am planning on getting some black to do the headliner and rear panels in the 951 soon.

Looks great! One thing to consider, though. I used that stuff to re-cover the parcel shelf of my bmw, and it faded really quick. Of course, the center console is not in such direct sunlight, but you might want to see if there is some sort of uv protection spray you can put on it.

I have the pasha sickness, my all black interior is begging for pasha seat inserts. It is a 924 after all

I'll pass on the door panels though.
