you guys are absolutely nuts! amazing work!

I'm gaining an appreciation for fiberglass/carbon fiber work after making some stuff at school. Seriously impressive!

depending on the weave, carbon fiber is extremely stiff yet dampens vibrations very well (why its used in cycling) my guess is its the perfect material for a steering wheel.

I'm assuming you aren't using prepreg for your pieces? Are you hand laminating your composite or are you vac-bagging everything?

Default No time

As the local racing season starts this Sunday and I'm in charge of 22 FunCup cars this Sunday we have no time for nothing else.
And yes we do vacuum bagging and we also has a small autoclave.
Hopefully we are gone have a bigger autoclave soon for parts like hoods and roof panels.
I vill be back next week

Very cool. I would love to have an autoclave but then I'd have to stock prepreg and keep it refrigerated. Hard to justify that cost when you can get good resin/frp ratio with vac bagging.

Keep up the good work.

We have done the door handles as well for our 951.
The original weight 350g and the CF one that we has done just 22g + the clear coat (not done yet)
