Default Plumbing in an accusump

What is the best way to add an accusump to an NA 944 motor. Where should I tie in the plumbing. Who makes the fittings.

Saw one application where they used a billet oil filter (canton) and added an AN fitting to the top.

Thanks

Ed

either that, or a sandwich adapter on the oil filter is another possibility

My instructor this past weekend had one on his 951...not sure where the plumbing went but the thing was mounted nicely where the Fan motor for the HVAC would normally be.

When I searched around I seem to remeber that for racing you shuld use AN -12 hoses and fittings not smaller. But if you look the adapters they are 1/2" that have smaller inside diameter.

I do not see a picture of a 944Cup race car on your avatar either.

Actually, the avatar is still the car I sold John. Do not even have a pic posted of the newer 911 racer. Wonder where my old car is and how it is doing.

Ed
